Rerack

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 3, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how the Rerack: Workout Tracker app (the “App”), provided by Mohamed Makled (the “Provider”, “we”), handles information. The Provider is responsible for processing in connection with the App and can be reached at [email protected].

At a glance: Your workouts stay on your device and are backed up to your own private iCloud Drive (you can turn this off). Rerack has no account, no ads and no tracking. The only service provider that receives data is RevenueCat, which handles purchases with a random, anonymous ID.

Training data

Workouts, sets, weights, repetitions, notes, saved workouts and settings are stored locally on your device. The Provider does not receive, store or have access to this data.

iCloud backup

When iCloud Drive is available, the App automatically backs up your training data to the App’s folder in your private iCloud Drive. The backup is on by default and you can turn it off at any time in the App’s Settings. These files are stored by Apple under your Apple Account and Apple’s privacy policy. The Provider cannot access them. You can delete the files in iCloud Drive at any time.

Apple Health

If you grant permission, the App writes finished workouts to Apple Health as strength-training workouts, including the workout type, start time and duration. Data from Apple Health is never sent to the Provider or any third party, is not used for advertising or marketing, and is not stored in iCloud by the App. You can revoke access at any time in iOS Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices.

Widgets, Live Activities and reminders

To show your next workout and an active session on the Home Screen, Lock Screen and Dynamic Island, the App shares a small summary with its widget extension through on-device storage. Workout reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. None of this leaves your device.

Import and export

Files you export or import (for example, a CSV export from another workout app) are processed on your device. Where you save or share an exported file is up to you.

Purchases

Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. The Provider does not receive your name, email address or payment details. The App uses RevenueCat to validate purchases, unlock Rerack Pro and restore purchases. For this, RevenueCat processes a random, anonymous App User ID, product identifiers, transaction and subscription status, purchase dates, the App version, device model, operating-system version, and approximate country derived from the App Store. RevenueCat does not receive your training data or Health data. RevenueCat also uses this anonymous purchase data to give us aggregated purchase and subscription statistics, for example how many trials turn into subscriptions. This data is not linked to your identity and is not used for tracking or advertising. See RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy and Apple’s Privacy Policy.

The legal basis for this processing is the performance of the purchase contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Purchase records are kept as long as needed to provide your purchases and as required by tax and accounting law.

What we do not do

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, and to complain to a data-protection authority. Because the App has no account, the Provider only holds the anonymous purchase records described above. To make a request, email [email protected]. Deleting the App removes all training data stored on your device. iCloud backup files can be deleted in iCloud Drive.

Children

The App is not directed to children under 13, and the Provider does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy when the App changes. The current version and its date are always posted on this page.
